Elephant ears. A decorative foliage plant with arrow-shaped leaves, white with bright pink veins, originating from the tropical forests of Brazil, among others. Can be used as a houseplant or potted plant for a location with high humidity. Immediately after potting the tuber, place in a warm spot, keep around 20 degrees during growth, out of the sun (indirect light). Do not keep the potting soil too moist, but never let it dry out and give it some nutrition monthly. In winter, the plant goes dormant and the tuber can be overwintered in the pot, never below 12 degrees.
