Elwesii with striking gray leaves and spherical flowers, blooming around New Year. The inner drawing is quite large and almost rectangular. The outer petals are pinched and slightly puckered. The fan-shaped coarse drawing at the top of the outer petals is beautifully repeated as a kind of mirror image on the inside of the petals. Flowering period December-January.
