Pepino / Melon pear This fruit has a tender taste and can be eaten fresh in fruit or vegetable salad or cooked in a ragout. It is also used indoors as an ornamental plant. Sow indoors from March onwards at 22-25ºC. Plant out in a hobby greenhouse or in big flowerpots. Keep it free from frost. After approximately 9 months the plant starts to produce its first fruits.
