Horned Melon
The kiwano has the fresh, sweet taste of lemon and banana. It is used in fruit salads and deserts. Sow indoors in pots from April-June at 22-25º C. After approximately four weeks plant out in a hobby greenhouse. Plants will need stringing. It is preferable to pollinate the female flowers by hand.
This plant is currently no longer in production and is temporarily unavailable from our nursery and partner nurseries. We hope to offer it again in the future.
