Italian pick anemones. Large, soft purple flowers, sometimes with an extra layer of petals. Best known as a cut flower, but also nice for the garden. Cover lightly in winter. Italian A. coronaria are healthy, vigorous plants, created through careful selection work at an Italian nursery. The tubers are smaller than those of the Israeli Anemone, but this does not affect the development of the plant.
