Berkheya radula

A South African perennial with architectural rosettes of spiky, gray-green leaves and striking, yellow, daisy-like flowers. It thrives in full sun and poor, mineral-rich soil. Excellent for gravel and rock gardens. Drought-tolerant and suitable for warm, sheltered locations. It combines beautifully with other drought-tolerant species.
