Chenopodium capitatum

Strawberry Spinach Sowing from late spring until early summer in a seedbed in open ground. Thin out slightly. The young leaves are edible and can be harvested after about 10/12 weeks. In Autumn small flowers will appear, brigred and edible, resembling strawberries, but less tasty. Very nice to decorate plates. The young leaves can be cooked like spinach or used fresh in salads.
