Alpine strawberry - Baron von Solemacher Sow early spring in a propagator at 20°C or in late spring in cold frame. Prick out once and plant out in early summer. A very compact variety without runners. Suitable for the balcony, window sill or patio. The fruits are aromatic, juicy and popular with kids.
