Basil - Red Lettuce-leaved Basil can be sown indoors all year round. For outdoor cultivation, sow indoors from March to July and move outdoors as soon as temperatures exceed 20°C. This purple basil is more aromatic than the green varieties. Excellent in combination with veal or when used in a red pesto-sauce.
