Italian Anemones. Large, pink flowers, sometimes with an extra layer of petals. Best known as a cut flower, but also nice for the garden. Cover lightly in winter. The Italian A. coronaria are healthy, strong plants, created by careful selection work at an Italian nursery. The tubers are smaller than those of the Israeli Anemone, but that does not affect the development of the plant.
